Wintergreen Arts Center is showcasing community photographer and musician Janice Santos in April. The opening reception of her show will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 2, all through Presque Isle’s First Friday Art Stroll.
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Wintergreen Arts Centre is featuring regional photographer and musician Janice Santos in April. The opening reception of her exhibit will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 2, in the course of Presque Isle’s Initially Friday Art Stroll.
Santos grew up in East Freetown, Massachusetts, in the vicinity of Cape Cod. She realized images as an apprentice in a neighborhood images studio. She later on expended time as a photojournalist in the Army Nationwide Guard.
She now phone calls Aroostook County her home and now resides in Perham.
“We search forward to welcoming Janice back to Wintergreen,” explained Dottie Hutchins, Wintergreen’s executive director. “We showcased her pictures a few of a long time ago and are psyched to see her new perform. And we constantly love it when Janice brings her guitar and sings for us.”
Over the past few yrs, Janice Santos has executed music regionally as a duo with Purple Ruger. She also gives solo performances and primarily enjoys showing up at First Friday venues together with the Wintergreen Arts Middle.
